#不論懸臂長短或懸掛物體的重量，只要支點兩側的「力矩」相等便可達到平衡。<br />
#重心越低時，天平越容易在寶特瓶蓋上保持平衡。<br />
#當天平在寶特瓶蓋上平衡後，可旋轉天平成為陀螺。改變天平兩側物體的面積可以改變風阻；又若寶特瓶蓋很光滑時，天平陀螺能轉得較久。<br />
