#材料 <br>羊奶瓶（內容量190mL，外體積240mL），寶特瓶（600mL），細吸管，迴紋針，紅磚，軟管，塑膠杯，5L大水桶（切掉上部）<br><br />
#製作<br>大水桶內裝水七分滿，桶內倒立一支裝滿水的羊奶瓶，瓶內有一根軟管連到桶外。<br><br />
#操作<br>把吸管剪成5cm長，對折後用迴紋針夾住吸管的兩端，成為浮沈子。把浮沈子放在一杯水內，調整迴紋針的數量與在吸管內的深度，讓吸管頂端恰好浮在水面上。<br />
##猜測：在寶特瓶內盛水九分滿。把兩支浮沈子輕輕放入瓶中再鎖緊瓶蓋。輕壓輕放寶特瓶，使兩支浮沈子能聽指揮下沈與上浮，並能改變浮沈的順序。先猜想如何操作再實踐。<br />
##猜測：在大桶內對軟管吹氣，使羊奶瓶浮起，且瓶底恰好貼齊水面。用針筒計算羊奶瓶中有多少水量被排出，先推算羊奶瓶的質量再實測。<br />
##猜測：取一塊紅磚和數個寶特瓶用橡皮圈綁在一起成為一艘船。猜想至少須綁幾支600mL寶特瓶才能使紅磚浮起？先猜想再實作。<br />

阿基米德發現：在水中，「物體排開的水重」等於「物體受到的浮力」。可以用簡單的數學證明阿基米德原理，也可以想像：「水中一團水」的重量等於「這團水受到的浮力」，因為這團水可以漂浮在水中的任意位置。<br />
#結果：壓寶特瓶時，由於氣壓增加，使水由吸管口流入浮沈子內，增加了浮沈子的重量，就有可能使浮沈子下沈。若是兩個浮沈子的開口大小不同，強壓或輕壓寶特瓶會使水的流速不同，於是開口大的浮沈子就可能先沈或先浮。<br />
#結果：吹入60mL的空氣時，會使羊奶瓶剛好浮在水面上，此時瓶內水重為190-60=130gw。瓶子受到的浮力為240gw，於是羊奶瓶的重量為浮力減水重，M=240-130=110gw。<br />
#結果：兩支寶特瓶的體積為1200mL，空瓶的重量很輕不計。磚塊的體積為20×10×5=1000cm<sup>3</sup>，所以二支寶特瓶與磚塊的最大浮力為1200+1000=2200gw，足以讓重量約2000g的磚塊浮起來。<br />
