#製作<br>煮熟數顆蛋，挑選外觀完整的熟蛋放在常溫下，隔日與生蛋混合進行實驗。<br><br />
#操作<br>實驗前先舉出十種辨別生蛋與熟蛋的方法；在實驗完成前，不可敲破蛋殼。運用感官或一些簡單設備，即可檢驗蛋的生熟。但必須比較同一批蛋，否則在冰箱中保存太久的蛋，會因為蛋內的氣體散逸使重量減輕，從而影響判斷結果。<br><br />

檢驗生蛋熟蛋的方法有：觀看蛋殼的清潔程度，聞熟蛋的香味，敲熟蛋的聲音清脆，觸摸生蛋殼的粗糙，搖生蛋有晃動感，用力握熟蛋容易破，光照生蛋有透光感，煮生蛋升溫慢，把蛋投入鹽水中觀察密度差異，以及滾蛋、轉蛋與立蛋，甚至還有沾水法、靜電法與砂紙磨平法等搞笑版。<br />
#結果：轉動的物體重心會升高，因此大多數情況是熟蛋的尖端在上（氣室在鈍端）。生蛋無法因轉動而直立，因為蛋內的液體與蛋殼轉速不同，使蛋的重心不穩定；反而在按停蛋殼時，因蛋液還在旋轉，故而手指離開後，蛋仍能旋轉數圈。<br />
#結果：在蛋形容器內裝砂與水，可以模擬立蛋與轉蛋的情況，而不必冒著打破蛋的危險。一個真實的蛋約55g，外殼質量5g；不容易立起來的原因是重心太高。而裝滿水與裝滿砂的假蛋重心也很高，只有將重心降低至蛋的下方才容易立起來；但是要看蛋的大小、形狀、蛋殼粗糙程度，以及砂的性狀決定，所以沒有標準答案。<br />
#結果：熟蛋的姿態不容易預測，但是把生蛋放在飽和食鹽水上，蛋的姿態是橫躺。在鹽水上方小心注入清水，將使蛋直立，而形成另一種立蛋的效果。由於蛋的氣室靠近鈍端，所以在鹽水中平衡時，蛋的鈍端在上方。<br />
